Dear Travelers: In order to provide a better gaming experience, OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent will undergo maintenance on January 16, 2025, from 1:30 AM to 8:00 AM (UTC), during which the game will be unavailable to access.

The game will release version 3.8.1 after maintenance on January 16. At that time, Travelers can follow the in-game guidelines to obtain the latest version.
Alternatively, you can manually update the app from the App Store or Google Play Store for a better gaming experience and stability.
(The actual time when the new version appears in the store may vary depending on the platform),
We will initiate a forced update after maintenance is complete. At that time, kindly note that version 2.11.0 of the game will no longer be available to access.

■ Update Contents

1. New Gameplay Features/System Updates

- Class Breakthrough: New character development content is available. All 3/4-star characters can break through to 5 stars, and some characters can break through to 6 stars. The 5-star characters available for Class Breakthrough this week are: Partitio/Isla/Millard/Theo/Lynette. Other characters' 6-star classes may be gradually unlocked in the future updates.

- Star Incense Burner: Used to produce materials needed for Class Breakthrough. Unlocked after completing the corresponding prerequisite events.

- Blessing of the Light: New character development content is available. Available characters: Partitio/Isla/Sofia/Fiore/Scarecrow/Gilderoy/Millard/Viola/Theo/Lynette/Saul/All 4-star characters/All 3-star characters. Other characters will be gradually unlocked in future updates.
- Day/Night System: In the new Solistia continent, players can switch between day and night. The available Path Actions and Quests will change accordingly.

- Ring of Dual Fates: Based on the player's progress across two continents, you can obtain "Light of Dual Fates" to level up the "Ring of Dual Fates" and receive bonuses

- Ouma Region: A high-difficulty map opened in Solistia. Challenge to earn rewards and materials for crafting special weapons for Solistia

- New Auto Battle feature:  Freely switch between automatic and manual modes during battles.

- Copy Formation feature: You can now quickly copy existing formations to other slots

- Gameboard update: You can now use up to 99 game tickets at once

- Soul Weapons update: Now you can choose to keep previous options or select new random options when using Void Dust

- Hunt update: The Influence requirement for Hunts has been changed from a single continent's Influence to the sum of Influence from two continents

- Tower of Trials update: Now, clearing a Job Trial level will automatically complete all lower difficulty levels that have been historically cleared

 

2.  Series of bonus events for new version:

- Daily login rewards: Obtain a total of 600 Free Rubies, 6000 Awakening Stone Shards, 30 Traveler's Sacred Seals, and 1 Veteran's Sacred Seal. Event Period: January 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - February 6, 2025, 1:00 AM (UTC)

- New Continent Celebration Guide: One free Guide per day during the event period. Event Period: January 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - February 5, 2025, 8:00 PM (UTC)

- New version Special Tasks now available: Complete tasks during the event to earn rewards such as Awakening Stone Shards. Event Period: January 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - February 13, 2025, 1:00 AM (UTC)

- All Travelers UP after Hunt: Event Period: January 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - January 23, 2025, 1:00 AM (UTC)

- "Punish the Crafty Cait IV" event is now available! Event Period: January 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - January 23, 2025, 1:00 AM (UTC)

3. New Traveler: 6★ Partitio (Merchant) from Memoirs of Solistia. Each STEP UP Guide grants New Continent Celebration Fragment. The first 4 STEP Guides grant Memoirs of Solistia Fragments. 150 New Continent Celebration Fragments can be used to exchange for 1 Partitio's Grand Sacred Seal (6★).

4. New Traveler: 6★ Isla (Scholar) from Cat of Memories. Each STEP UP Guide grants New Continent Celebration Fragment. The first 4 STEP Guides grant Memories Fragment. 150 New Continent Celebration Fragments can be used to exchange for 1 Isla's Grand Sacred Seal (6★).
